If you are still having this problem, try a little benedryl cream. This should stop the itch.

If she got bit by bugs, try this:

Half a CAP of bleach with half a CAP of water. Apply with a paper towel.

This kills any bacteria of the wound, draws out the antihistimine from the area, and dries it out. Same affect as alcohol, only diluted some.:cool:
