Spoil my rat? Me??

Believe it or not, he sits on my table at work like this for hours, Yes I do feed him and give him water regular :)

I own a dog grooming shop so he comes to work with me, Hes my guard rat.. ;) :D Its quite funny in the morning he gets up the same time as me and then he has some food and a bit of water then when i open the cage door he jumps straight into his carrier :D

And from the pictures I can tell he's so feroucious!!! :p I wanna rat, but it's amazing my mom let's me have a gerbil, and I'm not allowed to get a rat until I move out :rolleyes:

Rats are such beautiful creatures!

People often think hes a hamster. :rolleyes: As soon as they I tell them they are stroking a rats hes suddenly hated and a "ugly thing". :mad:

My landlord is scared of him so much.. He LOVES rent day! :D


He is my little shadow, I love this rat so much, I didnt think I would get so attached to a small critter but hes stolen my heart! He is always with me, Quite suprisingly its normally our elderly customers that love to hold him and they find him so relaxing, He has a fan club at work and they come in to see him everyday as they pass by :D.

I get slated quite a bit for keeping him alone but hes been tried with other rats and he really is not happy with other rats, he nearly died with his brother so I wouldnt risk that again, Hes more that happy to soak up the attention he gets at the shop and hes rarely at home alone, Hes got a cage in my shop where he swings in his hammock boggling and watching the world go by.

He he, why should you think that just because he is small, you wouldn't get as attached? I think it is GREAT that you have a "shop rat!" He he he, he has his own fan club eh? That is so sweet!

People think Valintine's a hamster too... Then I tell em she's a gerbil. I'd be like Dude, how come when you think he's a hamster your OK with him, but when he's a rat you don't like him???

anyway sweetpatat6 i was at a ferret show and was walking on of the ferrets outside and somebody come up and they said awww look at that sweet little dog! i said "errr hes a ferret" she said "eww ferrets! they bite and smell ewww horrible!" i thought "hey lady you just touched him he didnt bite! you didnt think he smelt" some people!

Thanks for all the great comments! He really is such a sweetie hes converted so many people but for those who dont like him they can miss out on the lovely rattie kisses!
