My baby boy turns 8 today. How did that happen!?

To this big beauty. Hard to believe eight years have passed already.
Earle is a special dog. My life would be much less complicated with a yard full of Earles! He never fights; he shares his toys and food nicely; for a husky he's very obedient, even off leash; he's never met a dog he didn't like; he's never met a person he didn't like; he's good with kids; he doesn't bug the cats; he likes to snuggle, but he can self-entertain too. He's had some health trouble in the last year, but he's doing well now. As long as I watch his diet, his pancreatitis doesn't bother him. He takes his hypothyroid meds like a good boy. A very long course of antibiotics seems to have resolved the obsessive licking. He even came for a few runs before the snow melted.

We lost Hoodoo when he was only four, but it would have been his birthday today too. I'm sure he'll find somebody at the Bridge to give him some birthday treats.
Happy Birthday boys!
