How is it we humans are so often "fooled!?":confused::D But it's easy to see, you're all girl and quite the fetching feline at that! hello to all,

i am ringo's mom and even though i look everyday at who's cat of the day, this week-end i didn't because of a sad event.

Ringo was hit by a car right in front of my house Friday morning.
thank god, i hadn't left for work yet and i was able to bring her to the emergency vet
Unfortunately, she had suffered brain damage and fell into a coma
I simply cannot express the sadness, I feel it is the end of innocence
My five other cats are wandering around the house (especially her evil sister Ronronichou) meowing like lost souls. I feel like meowing like a lost soul myself. I know I know, cats are safer inside. But please, spare the lecture, and bear with my pain.

I didn't know until 10 minutes ago there was a cat of the day forum where nice people like yourselves post sweet and loving comments on the cats we love. Your sweetness means more to me then you will ever know and though we never met, i feel a closeness and so much gratitude towards each and everyone of you.

Love your cats everyday as if it was the last, because one day they are purring and loving, and the other, they are in cat heaven, being fed sardines and drinking tuna juice.

I am so very sorry to learn of her sudden tragic loss. My deepest sympathy to you and your family. What a beautiful, sweet cat!

My condolences to you about losing beautiful Ringoletta! I cannot believe it. It broke my heart when I read the story.... Though I did not write into Pet Talk about Ringoletta yesterday, I feel she was a beautiful, unique, sweet, well-loved cat. You were a great owner....she had a lovely life with you, even if only for 1 year. Maybe God just wants her in kitty heaven. About 8 years ago, one of my cats got killed by a car as well. She had accidentally got out when the garage door was left open. Accidents happen. But now she is in kitty heaven with Ringoletta, and that is a beautiful place to be.

PS. Cry all your tears about her death....but celebrate her life as well. And remember: not anything, even death, can end love. You'll be reunited with her in heaven: for I believe kitty heaven is a section in people heaven.

Dear Ringoletta's Mom,
I am so very sorry about Ringo's accident. It was good that you were at home to get her to the energency vet. Our beloved Ralph Syracuse, went to the Bridge a year ago on 6/15. Knowing Ralphie, he was right there to meet your dear Ringo. It is a hard time for you right now, but Ringo is there and will never leave you. SHe knows how much you still love her. Sleep softly, sweet Ringo...Take Care of yourself...
