My on-line shop....

I have taken the plunge and set up an on-line store for my beads and finished jewellery. I decided to use Etsy.com instead of Ebay as everything on Etsy has to be handmade. It's easy to navigate and I really like just browsing on it! It is not an auction site, everything is basically Buy it Now pricing. There isn't much in my store right now, but I will be adding to it frequently.

I always wanted to learn to work with glass, but freshman year of Mass Art, when my two electve choices were narrowed down to glass-blowing and photography, I had to choose one, and realized I couldn't afford the supplies for glassblowing, and never got the chance to take it after that.

Oh, I'm glad they got there. I was searching for the receipt this morning to track them down! Finally got around to measuring. Didn't want to interrupt your birthday or your moms visit. My wrist is 5.5 inches around. I like the southwestern turquoise, starry blues and lavender escape. I am seriously into anything blue or purple so whatever might work best for you.

is there a way you can replace the hat with two pointy ears.... and the beak with a white muzzle.... and the orange feet with white pawsies.... and instead of the wings just let them more straight... and voilá a husky is made :p ;)

if it´s not that much work..... I thought it "might" be easier to leave a round/square piece for muzzle instead of the triangle beak... and instead of the hat just 2 "beaks" but on the head....

That's Hoodoo, Preacher and Kasha's ashes encased in the clear glass. The colored base matches their eyes or fur--blue and brown for my bi-eyed Hoodoo, white and blue for Kasha and black with brown streaks for Preacher. I have a few more to do. We have to wear picture id at work all the time now. I think I'm going to make these into a lanyard to hold my id. (If you are interested in a memorial bead(can be made into a pendant or other jewellery)for your pet, just send me a pm for more information. Desk sized is far bigger than I can work--wrong kind of glass and torch. The memorial beads could be turned into suncatchers pretty easily...or put on a keychain/zipper pull if you wanted to carry it with you. For the, ummmm, trendier type males, the beads could be strung on a simple leather cord and worn as a bracelet or choker necklace. They could probably be worked into those hemp knotted necklaces too, but I don't do knots!

I can't work with fur. Unfortunately, it just burns in the flame. The beads can be transparent. The ones on my Etsy site right now are a colored core encased with clear glass.

Sending a pendant back to add more beads would be no problem at all.

It arrived in such pretty packaging! Glacier, Cassie Cat would like to thank you for the silver tissue paper. She smelled it, and then sat right down on it - which at our house is a sign of extreme approval! "MINE!"
