Oh my! Sparky is adorable!!!! Both haircuts look fine to me. But he looks like a totally different dog!

Sparky was cute both ways but he is absolutely stunning with his haircut! I love the way you can see his perky ears now!!! :D If you didn't show me before and after pictures, I would not of recognized him as the same dog! :rolleyes:

Sparky is an adorable little dog!! But I do think the groomer should have left a little more hair on the little guy. He's naked!! hehe :)

Reece gets bad haircuts a lot but after a few days I get used to them :)

No, not at all. I've heard that some dogs act differently but mine never have.

Yeah, I guess so - after going back and forth a few times, I recognized expression, etc. He DOES look different, but not worse! He's really cute in his summer buzzcut - and I'll bet he's comfy and happy!! Admit it, you just miss all that cuddly fur, huh!?!?!

My parents shave their dogs every summer. They live out in the country, in Texas, and the dogs get very hot otherwise.

They usually look pretty ghastly. If you've ever seen a shaved Yorkie you know what I mean. But, they're so comfortable, and not at all bothered that they don't look so pretty for a while.

His fur will grow back quickly--don't worry! But I agree with the others that he does look cute anyway.

Tanya, Sparky is a precious little pup, no matter how long his hair is. It will grow back just in time for the cool wether. I think right now it's so hot that I wish I could have Carina shaved down to her skin, and that would not be a very good look for a Golden.;)

Sparky is adorable either way! I kinda liked his face hair better in the before picture. It gave him character, an individual look.

He'll feel sooooooooooo much better.

I think he looks good with both cuts. But he does look like a different dog. I even what to say that he looks younger without hair. But don't feel bad, Belle is about to get buzzed too!
