The new pet talk look...

How do you guys all like the new pet talk look,the update?It's kinda cool,but I miss the old thing!

I kinda think it's cool too, but I really do miss the old thing! One question- what's the "Instant UBB code" at the bottom of where you post replies?? I don't understand that thing!! :)

Instant UBB Codes, after one is selected, let you just fill in the box with the desired data - you don't have to worry about adding the correct codes at the front and end of the data.

And the Instant Icons work the same - ;) - just stop typing, mouse over and click the Icon yo want to insert, and *pop* the Icon code appears in your text.

   We upgraded the software mainly because it should be a little faster.

   Although, for the website to be as fast as possible we will need a faster machine for the web server.

   We will add more "instant icons" to the ones that come with the software. I know Karen made some of her own.

I like the new one. Its really cool. I miss the old one though, this one is much more complicated. When you first enter Pet Talk what do the things on the right mean? Where it has an icon next to it that looks like someone had posted a note with yellow paper. :confused:

I like the looks of the older format better, but, I like the reply and the UBB
codes on the new format. :eek:

I like this one much better. A few of the other dog boards I go to that have similar formats as this, are like this - so it makes it easier for me.

I LOVE this version! It took a little getting used to but now that I have spent a little time playing around with all of the cool new options it's 100 times better then the old version :) I just noticed that now there is a new option to send a private message! So cool!

I love this. I've not been around for a few days and when I checked the site last night, I got a surprise! Those that like the old format better probably just need some adjustment time :) Thanks Karen and Paul for all your work here!
