I think they prefer that as I get to spend a lot more time with them that way.

My job is a pressure cooker on a slow day...and we don't get many of them. But seeing Groucho's face in the window coming up the porch and his being on his back when I come inside waiting for his tummy rub makes all the day's stress go POOF!
