call me a sucker but I went ahead and ordered one. I sent in a pic and I was pleased with how the sample looked. Since it's a ceramic tile I wonder If I can use it as a hot plate :D

Hey, thanks for your order. Hope you'll be pleased with the actual tile. I actually make watercolor and pen & ink dog portraits ( my art site - StyleArtc.com (http://styleartc.com) ) and I sometimes manipulate photos on the computer when I'm having trouble coming up with a good composition. So I got the idea that putting these computer altered photos on tiles would be a good inexpensive alternative to a real painting.

Just wanted to make an update, now in addition to making pet portraits on framed ceramic tiles (http://styleartc.com/portraits/cat-portrait.html) I also make digitized (done by computer) matted and framed pet portrait prints. For more info and examples click here (http://styleartc.com/portraits/framed-dog-art.html) Thanks.

Another update. I have a new art site - www.StyleArtc.com where you will find in addition to the pet digital portraits, portraits in watercolor or pen and ink as well as dog art on items such as mugs and mousepads

The ceramic tiles and digital portraits are very nice, and are more within my price range than the traditional portraits (which are also very nice). I will have to try to remember this thread next October when I start looking for Christmas ideas for my friends. Of course, they always have birthdays, too. :)
