New Hamster

Hi everyone just thought I would tell you I am going to be getting a new hamster soon :) I just love them so much, they are such good pets for me. I have been asking for a dog and another hamster lately because they are my favourite pets and my parents said I can deffo have a hamster and they havent decided on the dog yet.

I am HOPEFULLY going to visit some tomorrow. If we get one out of the litter I am looking at tomorrow I will get it within 2-4 weeks :)

It will be a male and any name suggestions would be great!

Ok it seems like it will be 4 weeks until we get our new hammy but I am allowed to visit it when I have choosen it. The lady in the shop has some tan and white babies which she breed and are ready in 4 weeks and her supplier is giving her some more in 2 weeks which are also ready in 4 weeks time...... I think the tan and white ones sound nice but I will wait and see :)

AAAAHHH!!! I know this feeling too! I get a budgie in 'bout 7 weeks and I cannot wait! Start a countdown because it's helping me :D Oh and I heard some people giving some name suggestions, so here's some ideas: cookie, tia or mia, lilly, or maple! That's all I got!

Well it is a boy so I cant really use Lilly, Tia or Mia lol!

I am thinking of maybe calling him Beanie but I am not sure... what do you all think of the name Beanie?

If any colouring helps it will probably be tan and white! My dad has seen them but I cant for another 2 weeks :(

Whisk will get the same ammount of attention--- I get bored alot and dont like waking him up all the time because thats unfair.

Thanks for all the name suggestions so far people! I will show them to my dad who knows what they look like. (By what they look like he has seen the tan and white babies but we are not sure if any of them are boys yet so I have to wait and see, if we get one of those they are breed by the owners daughter in the pet shop--- if not I will get one in that pet shop from there supplier, either way they are ready at the same time)

We have thought about Snoopy and all the peanuts characters but my dad says it doesnt suit this babies! Oh I do hope one of these babies is a boy!

Well I am so happy :D

There is deffo 2 boys in the litter! :D (1 girl, 2 boys and the other not sure)

The woman says I can take him in about 2 weeks :D She said to anyone else its 3 weeks but because I am so good with Whisk (my dad goes in everyday) she will be happy to let my baby go 1 weeks early (he will be 7 weeks old)

Also she is reserving all the males until I have choosen my baby :D I cant choose yet because she cant remember what are boys and what are girls, she looked today but we kept forgetting as they had so many places to hide in their cage- I choose in 1-2 weeks time when they are in the pet shop and not in her flat! But I have first choice so thats ok :D

Ellie how about Oliver Twist? Then you can call him Ollie or Twist, you could have a Whisk and Twist! So happy for you. I am sure your new ham sandwich will fit in very well with older brother Whisk.
