"Addison was found on our client's front porch. They breed Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and have a litter of puppies at home so they couldn't keep her. She is the sweetest cat! We guess she is young, around 1 year old. She must have had kittens because two of her breasts are swollen. We have been having problems getting the swelling down, but are making progress. She is a wonderfully sweet cat. She was tested for feline leukemia and AIDS (both negative), given rabies and feline distemper combo vaccines, and has been spayed. She still has all her claws. She is a beautiful white girl with just a smudge of black on her head. She is not very fond of dogs, but would adapt I'm sure to a calm dog that ignored her. I don't want her to go to a home with young children as she is rather skittish with noises. She does not seem to like seeing other cats, but is not overly aggressive towards them. She more just wants to avoid them. If you can handle a few mild encounters she would probably adapt to living with another cat also.
Addison likes to cuddle and get lots of attention. When left alone, she likes to snooze on the couch or the stairway.
Won't you please spread the word that this wonderful girl is looking for her forever home! I already have 9 cats of my own and CAN NOT have any more. The clinic is so busy with boarders that I brought her home for the weekend to keep her in a room in my house, but being caged or separated from the main living area is no fun for a cat. Please help me find her a home as wonderful as she is."
