I am on the e-mail list of the Jazzpurr Society For Animal Protection of Windsor, Ontario, which runs a no-kill, no-cage shelter for homeless cats and kittens, sponsors a free spay-neuter clinic, and works to promote loving and responsible animal companion guardianship by individuals and the community.
Yesterday I received an e-mail from them about the "Let-Live" Canada campaign:
"On April 15, 2007 Michelle Jameus began a cross-Canada marathon from St. John’s, Newfoundland to Vancouver, British Columbia (along the Trans- Canada Highway). Averaging about 46 kilometres per day, Michelle's mission is to help Canada join many other western nations in converting to a compassionate, no-kill country by raising awareness and financial support for prevention programs."
They are looking for support such as publicity, donations, sponsorship, and company/accommodation for Michelle along her route. I just made a donation through the web site.
You can read more about it at http://jazzpurr.org/ .. or PM me with an e-mail address and I will forward you my message from them.
