Hi everyone! I am a newbie! I made a post (http://stacypostcards.blogspot.com/2007/05/dog-rescue-being-shut-down-needs-to.html) about the Gilbert, AZ dogs needing homes, but I probably should have introduced myself first.

I have two dogs and two cats:

Bentley - the eldest dog at 2.5 years

Bentley and Niko have a dogblog called

... but their sister kitties make cameos often.

We also take a lot of videos of our pets and put them on YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/user/satyr8)

Whew, this is getting to be a long intro! I am an artist, I work mostly in acrylics, sometimes oils. I do kind of fun stuff, sometimes dreamy darker stuff, often Pet Portraits. My art site is Stacy's Art (http://www.stacyfranz.com)

I have a day job too, where I work as a graphic designer for PetSmart Store Support Group in Phoenix, creating signage and working on the look and feel of the interiors of our services like PetsHotel, Grooming, Training and Doggie Day Camp.

This looks like a great community and I can't wait to dive in and share stories and chats with folks and their beloved pets!

Hi Stacy, welcome to Pet Talk. I did see your post in rescue; if I lived closer I would be very tempted to take in little Wish, even though I am not really looking for another dog at this time. I wish them well and hope that they can get all of the dogs placed in time.

Your pets are precious. That puppy picture of Niko is adorable. :D And I see from your avatar that he is just as handsome "all grown up." Hope to see more of Bentley, Niko, Venus, and Serena around here.

Hi, I am Chica and Coco's mom. My 3 yr old Chica is a brindle Chihuahua. Coco is a 6 mo old Chocolate brown Chihuahua. :)
