My wonderful Mickey does something that I'm curious about as a first time dog owner. I got her from Old Dog Haven when she was about 8 or 9 and have had her for 2+ years now. She goes everywhere w/me and I absolutely am smitten. One strange thing she has done on occasion is to "hump" me especially when she gets excited when we're playing, say on the floor or the bed. I can see a male doing this but I'm wondering why a female would. She is spayed and just fine in every other aspect. It's not a big deal and I just push her off when she does this. It's not even all that often but I wonder if someone else has experienced this. I've attached a pic of my beautiful girl.
