how long approximately does it take for a cats fur to grow back after an opertaion? and does spaying prevent the yowling and rolling around on the floor when they come inot season because my mum gets arritated at that and has hoped it has stopped.
ive never had a female kitten, so i dont know about the behaviour etc

It won't take long before her fur grows back, it's a matter of weeks, not years. And she will no longer "come into season" at all, so you don't have to worry about the yowling one bit!

The fur- it depends, usually 6 weeks or so.
I had one foster kitten, her fur didn't come back in for months!
Yep, no more writhing or wriggling, howling or yowling!
Good work having her spayed, she is happier and healthier for it.

hehehehe....my cat, Grey Girl's, hair never grew back! We took her back to the vet and they couldn't find anything wrong with her...it was just one of those things....I tell people she's part Sphynx! *joke* :p
