Well on my my Poultry Forum I belong to, someone posted that they needed to find a new home for two of his Chickens. Of course I gladly volunteered. He is 3 hours away from me, but he is meeting me at a spot, so I only have to drive 2 hours. Which I thought was nice, since I gladly told him I would drive the whole way. He just sent me some pics of the girls I will be picking up, and my god are they Gorgeous! so without further ado, here they are!

this is the older girl, she is a Mille Fluer D'Uccle.

This is her Daughter, she is a Mille Fluer/Cochin mix.

The Mille Fluer D'Uccle is what my Little guy Sunny is. so he will have two lovely ladies all to himself, once he gets old enough to know what to do with them!:D

They are beautiful! I love D'Uccles especially ones of that color! Her daughter is beautiful as well.

Both are stunning, though I'm especially in love with the daughter's coloring. Its so pretty & smooth. =]

The Mother of the two, Is an older girl we are guessing about 6-7 yrs old, but she still lays about 3-4 eggs a week, and is a great Momma. so I am hoping she will hatch some bablies for me.:)

I just got a call from The guy I am getting the birds from, and the Grey Girl Has gone to The Rainbow Bridge! A dog got loose and got her. He was so Upset! I am still going to be going to get the other girl. But this was so sad! Poor Baby!:(

Speckles the hen is here. after a 4 hour round trip for me, and a 3 hour trip for her, she is here and settling in nicely. She is just adorable! She was great the whole ride, and never said a peep. as soon as I put her in the coop she immediately jumped into a nest box, so she could lay an egg! he he he he! I will post pics later, once she has a chance to settle in and get comfy! :D
