Spring Flowers...

Most you probably saw crocuses a couple months ago, but they just came out around here in last few days.

Our crocuses didn't do very well this year, thanks for posting such gorgeous pictures of yours. My grape hyacinths were busting out all over, though. I love purple flowers!

I took pics of crocuses here in Alberta a couple of weeks ago - I haven't seen the brilliant colour of yours. Ours are a paler purple and FUZZY! :)

Are you sure these are crocusses? They look completely different from our purple crocusses, in fact they look a lot like "pulsatilla"

Their common name is the Prairie Crocus. Scientific name might be completely different, but yes, around here, those are crocus.
