Its official, I get to keep my car!!!!!!

I'm so happy I'm having a hard time NOT crying here at work!!

I checked to see how much I got paid & how much I had in my account total.. I had 414.00.. I called my car finance right away & asked how much I'm behind... He said 350.00 something... I said OMG SWEET!!! I thought it was a lot closer to 400.00, NOPE! I gave them my new banking info & tonight at midnight it comes out of my account!!

My next payment is next fri & its at normal cost 168.00! I kept my part of the deal, so they can now keep theirs & I get to keep my car!!!!

I have 50.00 left over & I can use 25.00 of that to go to the club tomorrow with my new group of friends to destress. & the rest for gas.

I'm so relieved & so proud I did this all on my own :D

State Farm has been so helpful & friendly with me! The INS side told me to pay them late, as the finance is more tied down, unlike them. So that allowed me to get caught up. I can pay off my INS on the 8th :D No more crazy late fees for me :D

However I could have done without that 70.00 oil change :mad: I needed it BAD & didn't know where else to go... When I picked up Joe after my oil changed, he told me to get that done through his brother, as he'll do it right & wont rip me off... Joe also said his dad can look at my car, fix it & also wont rip me off :D I'll have to travel to get to his dad, but it'll be worth saving hundreds & hundreds of $$

My dads sad I cannot geet my car back home, cause Jimmy would fix it & would let me pay in tiny amounts & I know I'll get the best service a car could get! But with my broken tire belt, the shaking would drive me MAD having to drive 500km! lol

I know I'm so happy!!!
I'm gonna party my butt off this weekend, cause my friends were all worried I was gonna loose the car & were offering to help. They all like my car. & were gonna help fix it so its fit to go on trips. Most of them have never travelled & Joe has never left the GTA, thats really sad... I love travelling & I do it already, so if they wanna help keep my car uptodate, I'm game!! I miss my sister & friends back home.

Next thur is when I sign the Bankruptcy papers to finalize everything (or atleast I hope it is!)... No more stupid phone calls from creditors & no more bills :D

There is always hope in life, just gotta fight hard to get it!

Isn't that a great feeling??? There's nothing worse than going out and finding your car gone, re-poed because you're behind in payments. BEEN THERE!!! Believe me, it's not fun.

I've found that as long as you keep the finance company informed, they'll work with you.

I've had a very good standing with state farm since I got the car, so them working with me wasn't too hard of a decission for them. I was abandoning all my other bills to pay for my car, as my car brings in my pay cheque (gets me to work)... I had my trustee call my finance company, so the correct info would get out & so there wasn't a middle man at all... When my trustee learned that I was only paying 169.00/month for my 6500.00 car he knew he had to help me keep it, as thats crazy cheap!!

I pay 169.00 for Financing & 130.00 for INS... thats crazy cheap!!! I just hope they don't find out about me not really living in Kingston :S Toronto INS would be like 500.00-600.00/month!!!! I cannot afford that & live! So my sister gave me her addy... Shes the best sister ever! I remember when we use to try to kill each other (ya we hated each other that much)... Now we care for each other. A few years ago she was crying cause she didn't have any $ to get dad an xmas gift. I bought it & had it mailed to him from her... ok she thinks thats what it said... I told dad casue it had to arrive in my name, but to tell her, it said it was from her & I had nothing to do with it :D She still thinks dad doesn't know ;)
