Zoee is a beautiful girl! My boyfriend and I are really fond of this breed. Do the make good pets? Everything that I've read says they do. I've been looking on the rescue websites at all of them. As a cat owner, I don't really know alot about dogs, but would LOVE to have one.

Zoee says thank you to all! :D She spent the morning at the groomers getting all pretty (going to see the cousins this weekend). Luckily it was quick trip and she is already home.

Pawla - I personally think they are great pets. However, they do require a lot of exercise. We had a blue merle when I was a child and he used to bite at the cars tires as they drove up the driveway. :eek: But he passed away of old age. And as you've probably read, they are smart dogs. Although, Zoee has her moments. (skunk dog) LOL

Blue Girl - Yes, I do hear many compliments about her eyes, but I love it!! :D I couldn't imagine her without two different eye colors. I think it fits her personality perfectly.

So now both of my "children" have had their special days. I'm such a proud mom. :p

We have a Bay Area Honoree as our DOTD ... how nice!!! :) I used to live closer to you (Vallejo), but now I live in Sacramento. I enjoyed reading all of the previous posts about you. Oh my gosh Cindy I cant believe it, Wooohoooo Zoee, im so excited for her!!!! and for you, Auntie Marti thinks she is exceptional and totally should be dog of the day!!!!!!!!!!!!! I totally love this pic of her, she is always beautiful but this one really makes her stand out!!
