I found Spring, the bigger calico, (who was doing SO well, eating and pottying on her own), dead this morning. :(

She just stopped eating. I forced her, but she was so lethargic yesterday that I was afraid for her. I did everything I could, and it wasn't enough.

RIP baby. Your life was too short.

Jen you did the best you could but as My Dear Mother said once You cant save them all.
But at least Spring got a name and did belong some where on her short stay here and knew love and warmth. The Momma Cats ahve taken Spring to a warm place where they will continue the job that Jen started until Spring gets her wings as an Eternal Kitten Angel.
And Spring will be there with All of Jens Cats and Foster Angels to greet her and be her Furr Ever Friends.
One Fine Day.

I am sooo sorry Jen. I know you did your best and I am sure little Spring knows how much you loved her. Think of all those you have helped. I think Spring was needed at RB. I know she is a tiny angel but the lord much have had a very special job for her. She knew love and happiness and a full tummy from a kind hand which is someone so many little ones never know. You did all you could and were a blessing to her in her short life. Maybe she felt Maybelline needed you more and she wanted to give that extra time you were spending on her to her little sister. She will be waiting for you at the bridge when the time comes and I can bet there will be such a gathering of those that you have loved and help along the way. Lucas will look after her I know. Please know you did all you could and it was just her time as short as it might have been. She did whatever job she was meant to do on earth and is on to her big job for God.

RIP Spring. You touched a very special heart here and will never be forgotten. You have fun up there ok. You will be missed little one. Look in on meowmie Jen now and then too ok.

((((((((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))))))))) to you Jen. You really are an angel to these little ones you have helped.

Little Spring - peace, little baby. Play happy at the Bridge.

Jen - hugs to you. You done good. There was something in Spring's wee little system that wasn't meant to grow any older...

Am glad you have the two adorable siblings to remember her by...they will have a bit of Spring in them. :)

Oh gosh Jen, I was so shocked to see this. If anything I would have expected it to be Maybeline. I am so, so sorry on the loss of little Spring. At least she knew the greatest love of all, your love. You didn't fail her at all. How many times have you told us who have lost bottle babies, that it isn't our fault. That despite all that we do for them, it just wasn't meant to be. You DID do your best. For some reason, God needed another special Angel.

Prayers on the way for widdle Maybeline and Rain that they continue to thrive in your care.

Rest in Peace little Spring.

Oh Jen, I can't even begin to tell you how very sad it is to hear of little Spring's passing. You didn't fail Spring, in her all too short life she knew what it meant to be loved and cared for all because of you. Spring will be happy at the Bridge and she'll always love you because you cared enough to give her a chance at a happy life.

RIP baby Spring

Jenn, I'm sorry to hear this. But if Spring had any chance at all, it was w/you. You did your best and sometimes we can only save them for a day. Rest well, Spring, you deserve a break. And so do you, Jen.

Godspeed to the Bridge, little Spring.

You'll grow up on the other side and wait for your mama Jen.

You did everything you could. Just remember that Spring got to know a human's touch and love which so many don't.

Oh no, I am just seeing this, and I am so sorry Jen. We all know that you did all that you could for widdle Spring. As others have said, I agree, she must have been needed at the RB. Play hard there little one.

I am so sorry- and this must leave you even more worried for the other three. Oh- we all know how low chances are for bottle babies- and here you are having helped so many of them to become happy cats.
And little Spring will now be happy at Rainbow Bridge.

Momtomany said it best, Jen. You showed Spring the love and kindness that so many other cats never do. You did all you could so do NOT beat yourself up. You are a saint, woman!!

RIP sweet Spring. :(
