Hi everyone! I know I haven't been around much, life has been busy...
A 5 month old BC puppy named Dazzle came into the rescue that I foster for. I was supposed to foster her, but with my surgery coming up, it would be too hectic. I can't help but feel that it's my fault the following happened, and that if I had taken her for even just a week, she would be fine...
Dazzle was outside playing with her foster mom's dogs. All of a sudden, there was a shrieking from the backyard. Foster mom rushed out, Dazzle wouldn't walk. She most likely caught her leg in the stairs.

The vet told us that the growth plates being involved is a very bad thing. They will have to put in a plate and pins, and the leg will not grow anymore... but he said the most important part of her growth period is over, so it won't be terrible, and she might still be able to do dog sports when she has recovered.

We are asking for your help! This has totally wiped out Hull's Haven Border Collie Rescue's bank account. The surgery will run between $1600 and $2000. even just $5 will help. If you can find it in your heart to help us, we will be very grateful.
There is a paypal link on the rescue's website:
