Yep, we're in the pop-up camper. :) We did have a slight mishap on the way here, a tire on the pop-up trailer blew out. Luckily, we were right infront of a exit so we were able to pull off the highway and change it.
Before sitting up camp we stopped by WalMart and just bought 2 new tires to replace both.

So what states did you traverse through? I imagine you skipped GA altogether and skirted the coastline through Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana to make it to Texas in such a short amount of time. Did you stop in each state and get a souvineer? :D

When you go back......... right in El Paso take a detour towards Ciudad Juarez and then take the road all the way to Chihuahua........that way you´ll end at my place hehe........

That way we can let the pups run around for a bit in our "pooch park" and get tired out, then go over to the falls.

You might want to check with some of "the Locals" about the trip to
Sitting Bull Falls ... MapQuest says the distance from Carlsbad to SB Falls
is only 43 miles; but the travel TIME is 1 Hour + 18 Minutes = 33 mph average speed.
NM #137 might not be the smoothest road in the State!

Sitting Bulls isn't too far - and we've already made plans to go there (and called the park themselves) so there's no need to worry, Phred.

Our camp neighbors were there with their dogs yesterday and they didn't express any troubles. It's an incredibly dog friendly area apparently. :)


We will be bringing the dogs with us (how could I go somewhere water related and NOT bring Kiara? :p ;) )

Well, we're here in Arizona. It's actually really cool out. The campground is okay.. wouldn't recommend it. Lots of obnoxious kids. We're right next to the playground, too.

We went to the Grand Canyon today - very cool. Our dogs got photographed by many people.

We are leaving early tomorrow. It is WAY too dry here. Our skin is all dry and cracky, the dogs have HORRIBLE dandruff. Again, the campsite is full of OBNOXIOUS kids. Example, there were a group of about five 7-10 year olds kids running around screaming "WEINER, WEINER!"

We'll be making our way to Utah tomorrow. :)

No reaction - Kiara was even fine around the hundreds of people. She let a few people pet her. I'm pretty sure she was wondering where the heck all of the water was!

We're currently in Colorado...well.. half of the gang is. We had to depart Utah this morning and had to say goodbye to Amy & Gang, Craig, and Frankie. :(

Had fun but looking forward to seeing what Colorado has to offer and then seeing where we end up next!

Kiara and Mufasa got to visit the famour Utah arches on our way here. Beautiful and breathtaking!
