This sweet thing needs a temporary foster in Memphis. In high kill shelter, time running out...

Memphis Shelter dogs - adoption area - Dogs/cats held in adoption an average of two weeks, then PTS if not adopted. The dogs in most immediate danger are nearest the top. (updated 7/11, 3:30 pm) If you want a dog shown here, HURRY-they have PTS many dogs that were in adoption only THREE DAYS.

The GSD rescue BBs are frantically trying to find a temp foster. They have an out-of-state adopter, they have someone to pull her from the shelter. All rescues are being alerted.

WHAT I NEED FROM YOU WONDERFUL PETTALKERS ARE PRAYERS!! Please pray for a good ending to this crisis. I will keep you posted.

Sue,

If she already has an out-of-state adopter and only needs
someone to get her out of the shelter, I'm hoping someone
in the Tenn. area can help her out. She is a Beautiful girl &
deserves so much better .

Oh Sue:(:( I will be praying with all my might that this precious baby is saved. Please God give us a miracle. That beautiful face will be with me all night. Prayers for you dear, sweet, innocent soul.

GREAT NEWS!!

"Hope" is secured!!!! She was pulled from the PTS list and a GSD BB moderator is adopting her! After her spay they will be transporting her to a wonderful home. Even I volunteered to transport (even though I hate to drive) if necessary. This one really touched my heart!!

Wonderful news! I was about to cry at the thought of that sweet baby being put to sleep. It's amazing how fast some prayers are answered.

Thank you all for your prayers. Again, the little miracle happened!

I am so impressed by the action of the GSD BB. When a dog is targeted, they go all out to try to save that dog, no matter what! So many of them have multiple dogs because they couldn't let another certain special one die. Unbelieveable! The frantic pleas that went out everywhere paid off. Some people have gone far out of their way to save that sweet angel that they are thinking of calling Hope. I am so glad that she was saved!!

Oh that is great. My eyes were swelled up into tears until I kept reading down the post. Bless her little heart, she must have an angel on her tail.

Oh, Rachel, I can't describe how I felt about this whole thing. It was so scary. The GSD board pulls together a lot, but I know they can't pull off every rescue. I was on pins and needles. All they had to do was spring her, but time was running out. OMGoodness, I was so scared!! That shelter has horrible rules. But, with the wishes and prayers of this BB, the rescue was successful!! WOW!
