PSP Text Help!

Ok I feel like an idiot, but I can not for the life of me figure out how to change the color of the text! I've done it tons of times, but I can't seem to find it today. :rolleyes:

Here's a screen shot so if someone can please explain it to me that would be great. :o

I don't have XI, I have X though. Do you normally have the color palette on the right side? This is how mine always looks:

Yay! I figured it out! Thanks! Whenever I clicked the Materials palette it would come up HUGE but I got it to go onto the side like you have. :)
