There are 5 micies at a shelter I will be passing by on Friday as I move back home. I may just have to stop and see. Maybe I'll be bringing home one or five mice. Its a mystery. Unfortunately I can't contact them to ask about the mice, their email is not working, it says there were two females broght in, one had a litter of 4. One mouse (mom, baby?) was adopted. I think they have been there for a while, not a new posting. No adoption fee posted for exotics here so that's a mystery as well.

Aww, I hope it works out! =D
Please let us know how it goes. I'm so glad to see how you've taken to like mice so well! They're great little guys, aren't they^^?

Like potato chips they are. My two are currently sitting on their free range card table munching away on two pieces of stale wheat bread. It seems to be their favorite treat next to cashews. I'd like to trust trying some dog bisquits for them, but it'll have to wait until I can get some safe treats.

I'm now the proud owner of Corinna, Lucy, Natalie, Blanche, and Sophia. I brought home the three they had left. No adoption fee, but I gave the shelter ten bucks anyway. No application either. The lady said they didn't want to advertise that the mice were free because they wanted serious pet-only adopters. Sophia is a boy. Blanche and Sophia are old and huge. They look more like small rats. Blanche is white with two black spots on her head and a tumor on her side. Sophia is a pink-eyed white. Natalie is coffee colored and younger. The shelter really didn't know what they had as far as gender. Sophia and Blanche were/are not tame and I don't think I'll even try to tame them. The lady at the shelter was resigned to the idea that they would live out the rest of their lives there, but at least I can give them more time and more room to play. I'll still let them run around the tabletop filled with mouse toys, I just don't plan to hold them.

Why doesn't it surprise me that you took them all? ;) I'll bet they're adorable. Good for you for giving them a home. Can't wait to see pics. :)

Congratulations! =D
Those mice are so lucky to have you, and I am looking forwarding to seeing some pictures when you get the chance.
Hey, you might find yourself taming the ones that aren't. =] When Coqui(my current mouse) lost her cagemate, I hated seeing her all alone, so I started holding her more and more. Now she's as sweet as can be. She loves to sit on my shoulder or curl up in my pocket or hood of my hoodie just like the rats do^^.
