A bat? Yikes, that's one big catch for your baby!

Mini and Jasmine like hunting flies and lizards - we let them eat the flies but save the lizards and return them to their former lives!

Wow!http://pages.prodigy.net/rogerlori1/emoticons/eek8.gif I've never heard of a cat catching a bat before. Was it still alive? I hope not. This would scare me. Luckily all three of my cats stay indoors so they can't catch small animals. They can only catch bugs. http://www.smileydictionary.com/images/smileys_cat/cat.gif

TO: Q.T.,
I'M NOT SURPRISED THAT YHOUR CAT CAUGHT A BAT. MYH FRIST CAT WHEN I
WAS A KID WAS A TABBY. SHE WAS A GREAT HUNTER. WILL THE NEXT DOOR
NEIGHBORHOOD BOY HAD BROUGHT A GARTER FROM THE MOUNTAINS TO HIS HOUSE. HE GOT TIRED OF IT. SO HE RELEASED IT INTO HIS BACK YARD.

BIG MISTAKE! MUFFY OUR TABBY HUNTED DOWN THAT 4 FOOT GARTER
SNAKE AND STOOD SO PROUD BY IT. IT WAS COILED UP IN OUR BACKYARD .
THE BOY FOUND OUT ABOUT IT AND WAS SAD BUT HE LEARNED A LESSON NEVER TO TAKE A WILD ANIMAL AND RELEASE IT IN TO THE CITY. HE NEVER DID THAT AGAIN.
SANDY FROST:) :D

You did not toss the bat did you?!?!?!? I would highly suggest taking it to be tested for rabies. Otherwise, you do not know if you came in contact with an infected animal. Rabies shots are extemely painful and expensive. I assume your cat is up to date, though.
