A little cloud,mostly sun over the next 6 days, temperatures from 52-70 degrees.Don't know waht i am doing yet,may have to take the grass trimmer to the store to find out how the cord goes in, which trims the grass.Dad always showed but,it was done every so often and he was the one who had used it more,knew how the cord went,i never could remember how to do it.

http://usera.imagecave.com/fritz85/cozypants.jpg http://usera.imagecave.com/fritz85/hideyboy.jpg Fritz laying on a pair i wore to cut our grass and hiding under my bed,piece of paper was in the way.A neighbor who was getting his sidewalk done,came over and commented on such a good job I have done with Spring cleanup.Also asked how mom and i were doing.Fritz had some Bologna sandwich with me for lunch,had his supper, then mom and I had pancakes, he got to lick the plates.Had a great time trying to hide his Monkey,finally put it mom's chair.He likes to go and sit in the window,then starts panting,he enjoys it,then has had his water dish filled three times.Mom was doing some Spring cleaning under the bed and found some pictures of Fritz when he was a puppy,soon after I first saw him.Once I have a printer that can scan pictures,I will show them.

http://usera.imagecave.com/fritz85/watchdoggy.jpg http://usera.imagecave.com/fritz85/lazynapper.jpg http://usera.imagecave.com/fritz85/snuggy.jpg Fritz watching out the window at 7:30 this morning.The tree out there is a Norway Maple that Dad and I planted last April,sure hoping it will start showing some leaves,dad would like that.Fritz ,his head tucked into me and snug as a bug in a rug next to me,being lazy.A couple of times in bed last night,he heard something,was going to bark,Mom told him be quiet or he was going back to his own bed,he stayed quiet.Had his breakfast from us,went out for a few minutes,didn't want to come back in,too nice out.he stsarted barking,so he came back in.He then got on my lap on the couch to snooze,Mom was making Tarts for the church auction tonight which she is going to.Next three days sunny and in the 60's,then cloudy the next three days,up to 55-57 with showers on Wednesday,going down to 43 on Friday with light rain.

http://usera.imagecave.com/fritz85/sleepytwo.jpg Fritz cuddled in tight to mom this morning at around 7 this morning.Had his toast and cereal,didn't want toast from Mom.I spent from 9 this morning to about doing Spring cleanup at my sister's,11 big paper bags full of leaves and assorted debris,made $50 so it was worth it.I have one tomorrow and one on Wednesday then next week,it will be grass cutting until around September,maybe October.I got home,Fritz didn't bother to greet me,stayed curled up in the kitchen,probably waiting for supper.He did come down to me for a few minutes,went to the window and barked,then back to the kitchen,has had his supper,eaiting for our which is Chili.

http://usera.imagecave.com/fritz85/leggyrest.jpg http://usera.imagecave.com/fritz85/pawhangy.jpg http://usera.imagecave.com/fritz85/lazyman.jpg Fritz right up on Mom's leg as she is talking to my sister.Fritz's rear paw hanging down while mom is in the other chair,another call to my sister and Fritz has his head almost hanging off the chair.Fritz behaved himself while Mom was at the luncheon.I was out cutting our lawn and doing gardening,Fritz was either in the window or he was at the back door waiitng for me to come in.I also got Mom's truck vacuumed out,she is trading in the 2006 Pontiac Montana and getting a small one, a 2007 Pontiac Torrent.We don't need all the space with just the two of us now,get it on Tuesday,same color as this one we have now,Beige.The luncheon was for the volunteers who delivered meals to Seniors.Mom has been doing this since 1986.I had KFC for supper,Fritz had a little of that plus some Fries and a little Lemon Pie,also a little Cherry Strudel.A few minutes ago,had the ice cream from my Ice Cream Bar,went out,then had some water,is now under the couch.didn't get any Thunderstorms,so Fritz ddin't get scared.

http://usera.imagecave.com/fritz85/wakeydog.jpg http://usera.imagecave.com/fritz85/snuzydoggy.jpg Fritz waking up this morning and having a snooze in Mom's chair.Had his cereal with me,didn't seem interested in mom's toast,it had Jam and Peanut Butter.He got up with me on the couch,looked at me for a chin scratch so did that.Had some of my Tuna Sandwich for lunch,is now on Mom's bed.A man dad worked with when he forst came to this area 60 years ago and worked with him at General Motors died this week of Heart trouble and another person we knew had ALS(Lou Gehrig's Disease) like dad died on Wednesday,he was 70.Having Fish and Chips for supper,should be good.Not much doing today,had a little more rain,still cloudy and 50.got rid of more od dad's thingw for the tractor,Larry was to take them out to his Brother-In-Law.Auntie Irene called today,mom said she sounded good,treatments are going well,goes back to Toronto on Monday.

http://usera.imagecave.com/fritz85/ledgedog1.jpg http://usera.imagecave.com/fritz85/ledgedog2.jpg A couple of pictures of Fritz in the window this morning.Yesterday he did a funny thing.He saw a Reindeer doll on top the wood cabinet the T.V. is in and it has been there since at least Christmas,he just notices it from the coffee table and gets down and looks at it and barks for a minute or two at it until it didn't bother him.Last night,had one of his runs,this timre from the rec room to the bar room and back a few times,then I got him some water,took a minute or so and he had a drink.He had his snooze under the little couch,went to bed with Mom,was in the chair with her when I got up, had cereal and toast with me,toast with mom,went out barked.He is now in the window.Sunny today 57,rain and 50 tomorrow,the rest of the week Sunny ,up to 63 on Saturday.

http://usera.imagecave.com/fritz85/cardynfritz.jpg Fritz with his buddy Cardy in the window.I saw a female Cardinal at our feeder this morning,that is the first time ever one has come to our feeder.Had some of my Bologna sandwich at lunch,wanted our supper,which was ham,Jelly Salad and potato Salad,hadn't ate his.I put a piece of ham in it,he ate it and did eventually eat it .He cleaned off crumbs off the plate from date squares we had,had a play with his Monkey and before my bath,had a play with his soccer ball with me.Had a bit of Muffin with me,is at Mom for some.

We have alot of Cardinals here, Barry. I usually see the males but sometimes the females. They love the sunflower seeds I put out for them. I love to see the baby Cardinals too. I've had so many gorgeous birds this year at the feeders. One of my favorites is the Painted Bunting. I also love the giant Woodpecker(Pilated-I think?). They are so pretty with their huge red topknot.

http://usera.imagecave.com/fritz85/riser.jpg Fritz rising up to start the day,Mom is starting to stir also.Had his toast and cereal like any morning,got up with mom while she read the paper,then to me and wanted his chin rubbed,then he flipped over on his back.I have been a little busy,had to cut my sister's lawn,rake up the flower beds, took out latice work that dad and i had put around the flower beds and tree out back.Marlene said they just trapped leaves,didn't want to do it while dad was alive,he wouldn't have wanted it.Larry's Brother-in-Law came and got the rest of the scrap wood we had in the shed,cleaned out and straightened it up, and washed my truck.Our neighbor may end up buying the truck mom traded in 2 days ago.When i had first got back,Fritz was outside for fresh air,came in and went on a tear and grabbed a shirt out of mom's bedroom,got it before he went under the table with it.After whille,going to get a new printer,this one i can scan pictures with this one now only prints,mom found pictures not long ago of Fritz when we first got him and the only way to see them is to scan them to the computer.

http://usera.imagecave.com/fritz85/babyfritz.jpg The first picture of Fritz and I August 11,2002.Mom didn't take a very good picture,my back to the window.trying out this printer ,apologize for the size of it.For people that don't know we got fritz on August 8,2002.Mom,dad and the Aunties went from the Park to get,i wasn't camping ,so I had to wait 3 days to see him.Ruffles ,our previous dog a Black Miniature Poodle died of old age on April 3 ,2202(15 and a half years of age).Dad had to do take him to get him put to sleep,wasn't easy for for him .Dad had made a coffin for him, covered him with a blanket and put some plastic flowers from the bathroom in with him,h e never told mom and i where he buried him,he told the Aunties,Aunties told us he buried him in our shed out back just east of my bedroom window.The vets brought flowers and a piece of Ruffles hair,dad lost it and he really cried,threw the hair out.We didn't tell anyone for a few days,,then Larry came down,dad told him he cried again.We were not going to get another dog until fall ,dad couldn't wait got him in August.The day come i was going to se him for the first time and i got breakfast out of the way and i sat on the front step to wait foer them.They came down the street,dad holding him up,went to see, him,he was really small,showed him to neighbors.Larry came down with taffy shortly and he saw Fritz.It was really funny to see fritz,so small chase taffy who was 5 or 6 at the time.Told Larry not to tell Marlene,he left and we went up with him.Dad stops at the end of the house and he comes around with him and Marlene just about cried seeing dad with a new pal.

Ooooh I love the Fritz baby pictures. What a precious little guy he was and so tiny! :) Barry, it was wonderful to see your dad in that one picture, healthy and smiling. I know that is the way you want to remember him. I didn't realize that Ruffles was a black miniature poodle. That's what my Ripley is. I hope he lives as long as Ruffles. :)

http://usera.imagecave.com/fritz85/gazeboboy.jpg Fritz sitting in a chair in the gazebo.I was cleaning the glass on the table and he wanted out,so he came out and jumped in the chair.Before this I had cut and trimmed our grass,washed Mom's van, cleaned the windows of my truck,then vacuumed the upstairs of the house.Mom had gone uptown with a friend of hers we had a Maple Fest ,where thye were selling among other things Cinnamon doughnuts and pancakes,Mom said there were long lines for the Pancakes,had to wait 10 minutes for the doughnuts.After Mom got back(they walked up,a 10 minute walk),I had to go and cut her friends lawn,so i had a busy day.We had pizza for supper from Dominos,very good,Fritz had a little.He had got in the window ,was panting,tried getting him out,he growled at me.tonight,has had a bit of doughnuts and a litle of the Ice Cream from a Ice Cream bar.He is now outside,have to go and get him.

http://usera.imagecave.com/fritz85/blizzard.jpg Fritz begging for some of Mom's Crispy Crunch Ice Cream Blizzard from Dairy Queen,the Duck wanted some too.I had a Smarties Blizzard which had Chocolate in it,so he couldn't have it.Went shopping for the pants which i'll wear on Sunday to church and to dinner later.She got some more clothes for herself.Met Marlene there who was getting nails done.they stopped and browsed at several stores,i went to a bookstore, got A Kennel Club book about the Bichon Frise,a Mother's day card for Mom showing a lady walking a White dog,a Poodle.At another store,got 2 binders for more pictures,Mom loved the card.Stopped for lunch while there,I had a Club Trio which was had a Club Sandwich,Ceasar Salad, and a little bowl of Chicken Noodle Soup,Mom had a Grilled Cheese Sandwich which had bacon it,the best Grilled Cheese she has had and Marlene had a Fajita.Fritz did get some of the ice cream in a bowl,then went out,then had to get him water,just needed another drink,I had to take it to him on the coffee table which he then drank from the dish.He is sitting on the coffee table looking at me and panting.The lunch was Marlene's idea,I paid for the lunch.

http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2007-5/1258574/scaredboy.jpg Fritz under the covers of my bed this morning.We had thunderstorms this morning,Fritz got uneasy and was wandering around,Mom gave him a pill,he spit it out on the bed.When he first come out this mrning,he had my cereal,had a drink and he curled up in a corner of the kitchen,Has a grooming appointment for 10 this morning and will be looking rather spiffy.It is Marlene and Larry's 36th Anniversary and are going out to dinner again.Getting more thunderstorms later,Fritz is not going to like and neither will my sister's dog Taffy.I misunderstood,we aren't going out,forgot Mom was working at the hospital gift shop tonight.Still waiting to hear from the groomers to pick Fritz up.he was just tugging on the leash to get in there and couldn't wait to get to the groomer Michelle.There is a severe thunderstorm watch in effect.Fritz will not like to hear that.

http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2007-5/1258574/bedpal.jpg Fritz this morning,snoozing right up near the pillow.Fritz was good last night,gave him a pill for motion sickness and he was fine after that,ended up sleeping under the little couch before going to bed where he was quiet all night.It was 80 here yesterday,today has cooled down to 54 and cloudy ,more rain later in the day.Fritz has had his toast and cereal and is now in the chair curled up.Mom has a Salad Luncheon for Hospital volunteers to go to for this afternoon.Cut two lawns,including ours just before it rained and raked up the flower beds.Mom and I are going out to dinner Saturday,will be a little change.

http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2007-5/1258574/cooldog.jpg Fritz having a cool nap behind the chair against the wall.He had just been in the window,sun beating in and he was panting like crazy.I went to move him out,he growled and I left him there and he finally got out on his own and got where he was in the picture.We had Subs for supper,he got a little, there was cheese and onions in it and He got a little of the bun and some lettuce.Just had doughnuts,he had to go out and he now wants his fresh water,which i have to get now.
