were home!here is little corona sleeping after she SLOWLY made it inside!

poor little thing, she had to stop when she was walking up the steps because she was in so much pain...there was only 3 steps! I feel so bad for her!

Here is what the vet said...

They ended up taking two pieces of her intestine because one area was "raised" and looked like something could have been going on inside there! well actually she said there was multiple area's that looked "raised"!

Then there was a place in the intestine that was dialated and looked infected and inflamed!

Her thyroid glands were inflamed as well, which indicated to them that she was trying to fight off some infection or possibly disease!

the only good news is, we had them take some x-rays of her hips while she was out and they came back EXCELLENT! She doctor said that her hips were above average, and much better then labs hips normally are...at this age!

Right now she is resting peacefully...and shivering poor thing!

the other two couldnt get enough sniffing time when she came home, but after yelling at them to be careful with her and to leave her alone, they decided to!

I will find out in about a week what the biopsy said and go from there!

Im still worried as to what it may be, but i have very high hopes that this has done the trick!

The vet reassured me that this will almost 100% tell me whats going on inside her! So i hope thats the case and we dont need anymore surgeries and corona can just be a happy puppy!

thanks everyone for your support!

Oh, poor Corona girl. I am glad she is home with you and resting. I hope everything comes back okay from the tests.
You and Corona will be in my thoughts.

Poor baby, that surgery sounds painful. I hope Corona gets plenty of rest
so her insides heal up soon. Prayers for a successful recovery.
