I normally post in the cat section, but a friend of mine is having skin issues with her British Bulldog. She gets eczema, and yeast infections in the folds of her skin by her ears, tail and mouth. My friend was wondering if there was anything out there, besides Rx meds (maybe holistic) that anyone uses for this on their dogs. I asked if she feeds a certain brand of food, and she said she uses Beneful. I asked whether she has any allergies, and she doesn't know. A co-worker suggested spraying her with a solution of apple vinegar and water. I thought that sounded weird, and thought the vinegar would burn the tender skin, but who am I to say what would and wouldn't work.

Any input from here would be greatly appreciated.

Is there a specialized one? I found the Pet Care vitamin... but the others are just the essential oil. Can it be used on humans and dogs as well? Do you use it diluted or not? One essential oil site I looked at said they never use it straight, but it didn't say how they diluted it either
