Tubby & Peanut's Mom

We’ve left the campground we spent the winter at, and are now at a campground about an hour North of Phoenix in a small town called Camp Verde. It’s not far from Sedona, so it’s really pretty with lots of sightseeing and off road trails to explore. We’re at a higher elevation than Phoenix, so the temps are usually about 10 degrees less than what Phoenix gets – low to mid 80’s lately, with high 70’s the last 2 days or so.
We set up CJ’s little outside enclosure, but he didn’t seem to like it as much as at the other campground. There, we were up on the hill away from most of the commotion whereas here we are right in the middle of all the commotion. However, he has learned to like being out on a leash more, and he particularly likes it after dark. He gets really bold then and just starts trotting down the street like he owns the joint. Needless to say, I reign him in and only let him go where I want him to go.
Robin is doing well and really getting settled in. She sleeps most of the day – like CJ – but she likes to come out at night and snuggle while we watch TV. Then in the middle of the night – meaning 2 or 3 in the morning – she decides it’s time to play. She alone sounds like a herd of horses running through the motorhome. Since our floors are all tile, she slips and slides when she’s at full tilt. One night she came tromping into the bedroom, must not have been able to stop or turn quick enough, so she slammed right into the garbage can. What a ruckus! And all at about 3:00 am.
Anyway, on to some pics……Robin telling CJ what she thinks of him sleeping so close to her.

We took a drive through Oak Creek Canyon, North of Sedona. It’s absolutely beautiful! We stopped and took a short walk down a path, and Peanut stopped by for a visit!
