Trooper eating furniture

Hi, my roommates 12 week old Basset hound is eating furniture and plants. Does anyone have any ideas of what can be done to stop this destructive behavior? Thanks!

Get some bitter apple and spray on them and see if that helps. Be careful of the plants. Check and see which plants are poisonous to dogs.

Give him plenty of things that ARE okay to chew on. When you catch him chewing on furniture, say "No!" then give the pup a chew toy instead.

Get all plants out of his reach. It's safer for everyone concerned that way!
