Hi, I am fairly new here too. I don't know the answer to your question but I think if you read this thread it might help you figure it out.

How to put the photos in the message area? First, you open a FREE account at www.photobucket.com Next, you set up a subalbum with the date of the post you are going to put up on Pet Talk. (The use of subalbums is something I learned later. It helps to organize your pics and you should use it right from the start! No one told me that!!)

Next, you click on the subalbum you just set up, so that you are working IN that subalbum. Now you use those browse areas at the top right to get the pics you want from your computer. When you have the ones you want listed, click on the UPLOAD button.

At this point, you have your photos on photobucket! The next step is to get them in your PT message.

I usually have several Windows open so I can easily click back and forth between photobucket and PT.

On PT, start a new thread. Put the title and then in the message put your introductory words. When you are ready for your first photo, go back to photobucket and click on the IMG link under the pic you want. You will see a little "COPIED" pop up. Go back to the thread you are creating, and paste. You will see something which starts and ends with ..... Those dots will be all the reference the internet needs to find that picture.

Hit "return" and type more words, for the next photo. Most of us put just 4 or 5 photos in one message.

The photo is NEVER actually on Pet Talk. Rather, when someone opens the thread, the photos are "mirrored" from photobucket. If you remove the pic from photobucket, all we see is that tiny red "x" which you have likely seen at one time or another. So you leave the pics on photobucket . . . forever! This is why you want the subalbums! so you can easily wade through everything each time you upload a new set of pics.

I hope this helps! Give it a try! I did my first one as a "test" in Other, and deleted it after I had it up.

Good luck!
Sandie
