Goodbye Sweet Basil

My sweet little Basil died today. You can see him at http://petoftheday.com/archive/2006/June/20.html
Basil's best friend Manuel died a few months ago and I don't think Basil recovered from this.
Basil was the most intelligent gerbil I've ever owned. He was also quite a charmer, and there was nothing he loved more than laying in the sun.
You will be missed little friend.
