A few nights after Mollie's babies were born, Maggie evidently decided she wanted to be in the living room so she could be with her "mommy" (me). Th eproblem was the babies were all in the kitchen and she didn't want to leave them. Her solution was to start packing them into the living room where she would put them on the couch by me. She would bring one in and go back to get another one. While she was doing that, Mollie would come looking for her baby & would take it back to the kitchen. The two of them made 3 or 4 trips like that - finally I got a big storage tote and made a bed in it for all the babies (Maggie & Mollie included) and then both mommies were happy. It was just so cute - I had to laugh though. :)

You are a very good aunt to the babies, Maggie! How nice that you're so willing to help care for them.

Maggie and Mollie's transporting the babies back and forth must have been something to see. Poor little ones must have been a bit confused about what mommycat and auntiecat were trying to do.

Another reason why we love our kitties so much!!!!!

I remember so well when Suzie gave birth to her litter when I was a young fellow , and she would try to keep tabs on her Kittens.
When they got to be about 6 weeks old they would not stay put and it was so funny watching her take one back to the bed in the closet only to watch another scamper past her.
Maggie sounds like a good little mother, and she will be so caring with her dear little wonders. With a Mommy and A Grand Mewomie those Little Ones have it made.
