Vet for Archie?? Can anyone help

He is his usual bouncy, daft self except every so often he needs to wee every 10 minutes or so....this only happens during the evening, the rest of the day he is fine and it doesn't happen every day.

This happens after he has had quite a lot of water to drink - my question is does he wee because he has been drinking or does he need to drink because he has an infection???

I will be chasing him round the garden to collect a sample at some stage no doubt :eek: all tips gratefully received :D

Hummm, I'm not sure but, can't the Vet discover whether it's an infection
from a blood test? If he's having a problem controlling his pee in the house,
I'd say, infection for sure. I do hope it's not.

It would be of benefit to have the Vet check and rule out such things as early Cushings disease, and kidney function (e.g. specific gravity of the urine).

I would think to get a urine sample would be the way forward....now i know this can be easier said then done....yes i have chased round with a cup trying to get one!
The only thing i can say is perseverance...Then the vet can check to see whether there is a urine infection ect....
My tip?...BIG CUP :D FAST LEGS!..and good luck...

Thanks everyone - he does seem to be fine at the moment but I will be having him checked out just to make sure. Wouldn't want anything to happen to my gorgeous Archie boy

I hope it's nothing too serious. We have had our share of 'peeing' problems here. :rolleyes: Not due to house training, due to sickness.We need you all better Archie. :)

I don't think it is anything too serious as it doesn't happen all the time - just the occasional evening but I'm still going to get my silly big boy checked out cos I love him :D

awwww Archie, Auntie Jen is sending you lots of hugs and loves. Hope all is well! Roscoe seems to do that sometimes when the weather gets nice after winter. When I had him checked for it the vet told me that nothing was wrong except the poor fellow probably missed the sun and just wanted to enjoy it. Don't ask me why he keeps coming back to the door to come in :rolleyes: :D

He has no trouble indoors or overnight which is why I am so puzzled. Uncle Michael will sort him out on Tuesday, I have no doubt
