I was at the vet's yesterday with Vita (UTI suspected).
The staff were talking about Ralphie, a boxer pup about 8 months old. Woman bought him from a pet store, "as is," about a month ago. He has spent most of that month at the vet. He is / was a very sick puppy. Yesterday, while I was there, he seemed to have turned the corner and was getting better, for the first time in all that time.
They "think" he had a very bad case of worms. He has been on IV's, every wormer known. He almost died twice. That woman has spent over $2000 on him; and they haven't even been able to neuter him yet!
Just one more example of pet store abuses.
Thought I'd ask for some PT prayers for Ralphie, sounds like this pup needs them! It IS good news that he is on the mend, finally.
