*Memorial Day Weekend *BASH* @ Findlay, OHIO Bark Park ~ *SUNDAY* MAY 27, 2007 ~

Well let me start off with a HUGE thank you to those of you that were still at the park when I left (the first time :o ) and you all realized that someone left their camera behind. :o Thank goD I'd only gotten 10 minuets from the park when I got the call to turn da bus around. (as Phred would say :p )

We were blessed with Wonderful weather at the park! Except for the few sprinkles that chased us back to the pavilion around 6:00 or so.

I had a blast and I wish it hadn't been so long since my last visit! :(

On my honor I promise not to try a different route to get to the dog park

Although... my detour through and around, back through and around once or twice more Norwalk did let me save a pair of swans that were strolling across the road! :D

For those of you who weren't there, the girl in the photo with me is Lucy (the chihuahua/pug) and Brutus (the rat terrier)'s mom. She isn't a Pet Talk member, because she can only use the computer at the library, and it's set not to allow people to join forums. So she just browses Pet Talk.

And while we were the first humans there. See Paul's robin photos for who was there before us!

As you can tell by the photo, if you ever want to feel like Queen (or King) of the World, bring beef jerky to a dog park! Other treats work pretty well, too.

And Angie, we thought of you as we passed by Norwalk on the way home!

Hi everybody! I'm back! Ended up staying in Findlay till Thursday finishing up the move. But my computer was already en route to Rhode Island, so I'm just now getting caught up. I'll get our photos on line soon.

Hey - does anyone know where Brianna (weimlover23) with Titan the Weim and Liberty the Vizsla went? I haven't seen her post OR attend any getogethers recently. :(

Titan the Weim and Liberty the Vizsla went? :(I've only seen them there a couple of times since last year. There's a lot of people who don't come anymore because of the change in park policy- i.e. no longer securing the dogpark. Pretty much anyone who wants to can bring their dogs in, and scoot out if they see the ranger.

I'm not sure but I ran into Heidi the other day - the one with the 3 danes and talked with her for awhile. I forgot she had a cousin that came to the park.
shawsdanes have added an Olde English bulldog to the family.

I'm so sad to have missed the meeting this year and Roxey definitely was not happy with me either since we always celebrate her birthday there :o

It looks like everyone had such a wonderful time and I'm so sorry I didn't get to meet you Ashley. And Pat I really did want to be there to tell you, JoJoe, Sherman and the lovely Star goodbye. I'll really miss you guys:(
