Introducing Reilly

I am very proud to introduce all of you to our new family member. His name is Reilly!!!!!! He is a cocker spaniel/beagle mix, that we got from a rescue shelter in Orlando. We went there with an open mind and to look at all the dogs that they might have and we fell inlove with him. He is very smart, only 8 1/2 weeks old, we are trying to start him on the leash, he does pretty good as long as you make it fun for him, it has been something getting use to a puppy again, its been 15 years...lol But he is worth every minute, and I have some great friends, (thank you Cindy) that keep me grounded and calmed down when I am freaking out...lol I hope you enjoy seeing him as much as I enjoy showing him off.

the pic of him with the rope, it happen to be Ginger's rope and he loved it, but we took it and put it up, it was old and frayed and we were afraid to many strings would come off.

How adorable! I love that first pic of just the face. I'll have to get Dasher and Reilly together for some play time and pics. He just loves to play. I was at the art thing in the park today and this teeny terrier snapped at him. Poor guy. He just wanted to play. Was even talking to him a bit.

Yay! Another PT puppy and it's another black and tan! What a cutie Reilly is! I hadn't had a puppy in 5 years when I got my Layla last summer and I thought it was gonna kill me. :rolleyes: But I tried never to forget the 'fun' of it all! ;) Best of luck with your little cutie! :D

Thank you all so very much. Val I would love to do a play date with reilly and dasher, maybe we can do the dog park. He definetely is keeping me on my toes, as well as chewing my toes...lol Other than typical puppy stuff he really is a good boy, I am so blessed, he will never replace Mousse and Ginger, but I have to say he really helps the void and the pain of not having them, and he has his own special place with daddy and I. I promise I will keep updated pics coming when I can.

well i wish i had a different camera, my digital camera takes great pics however it does not take the pic until after it has flashed twice, so moving pics are not really an option!!!! reilly this morning was carrying around his bear. This bear is a stuffed bear that is dk blue and blk in color, and he totally loves it, we call it "mr. Bear", he was running all over the house carrying it. I might have to see about a different camera.

I know what you mean!! I keep telling Bruce that I want a new camera because other people here on PT take such great action shots and mine doesn't. :(
Well, maybe we need to hint since our birthday IS this Sunday!! LOL :D

Don't they just steal your heart when they sleep on their backs. My youngest Lab, Sam, used to sleep on his back when he was a puppy but doesn't anymore now that he's older.
