I think I want to get a Basset Hound! Just looking at Daisy, it makes me want one soooooooo bad! I don't know that much about the breed. If you know little or a lot about Basset Hounds, please share it with me! Or, if you know any sites about Basset Hounds, also share it with me please! Thank you!

I have another basset link but can't find it among all my other Favorites. Bridget will probably have some for you.

Oh, finally! Another Basset lover! I am so excited!!! I would definitely recommend a Basset Hound to pretty much anyone. They can be quite active, and they can be lazy; serious, or funny; they really conform themselves to fit your lifestyle. Since getting Daisy, I have learned a lot about the wonderful breed and read a few books on them. I'd be more than happy to answer any questions you have on them.

As for web pages, Pam showed me to www.thedailydrool.com (http://www.thedailydrool.com)
It's a Basset site, and I love it!

I would be so happy to have another board member get a Basset! In my eyes, they are the best breed :)

All I really know is that they are the sweetest things with faces that melt your heart. And I love the little bit of porkiness that is on this breed, It's so cute!

If your going to be a first time hound owner, a basset hound would be the hound I would suggest. Yes I suggest a basset not a beagle ...lol..

They are a lazy hound and just fit in well to any life style. They are easy to care for and I have found through owning a beagle and a well part basset that they are more easy going and are happy to just go with the flow.

Being a hound they get along great with other animals and would just love your Sadie.
