I got this off another forum I go on.
All Friends of the Animals,
I am desperate for your help. There is a lot of stuff going on
with the city of Chillicothe right now, they are revamping the works of the
shelter there and are forcing Lesley to do a massive clean up at the end
of the month. After that time the dogs will only be allowed to stay 14
days and then they will be put to sleep. Every dog will be put to sleep
there at the end of the month if we can't get them out.

At this point, if any rescues can help, we need them. If the rescues can pay the vet bill we need it, but if there are rescues who can't or don't pay then Lesley is willing to let them go in order to save their lives. If there are
any rescues who would be willing to come to the shelter and pick up a load, please have them contact me.
We can try to arrange transports and Melvin, one of the shelter workers and I can maybe drive a couple of van
loads to Joliet to pass them out. But we don't have much time and there
are 100+ animals that WILL DIE at the end of the month. Please help us
save them!!!!
Any dog who is not vetted now, will come with just shots, the others will come fully vetted and as I said, they can come for
free if they have too...the shelter needs the funds, but we have to save their lives....
I will be updating the list more tomorrow night as there are
approxiimatly 20-30 more who are not yet listed and there are also
about 30 cats. The shelter is located in Chillicothe Missouri.
THIS IS BEYOND URGENT...THIS IS DESPERATE!!!!
