Iditarod

Was the Iditarod on t.v. this year? Last year I watched it but I never saw a commercial or anything for it this year. And come to find out it's over. A guy with NH ties won it. I really wished I saw it. Does anyone know whether it was on t.v.?

There has been no TV coverage this year. The Outdoor Life Network usually shows some footage, but it's always a couple months after the actual event. This is my favorite site for coverage...www.cabelasiditarod.com

Lance Mackey won yesterday--using 13 of the same dogs he won the Yukon Quest with a few weeks ago, wearing the same bib number his father and his brother wore when they won the I-rod. Lance has dog care and distance running down to a science. I've had the pleasure of meeting him several times. He's a nice guy.

that's a nice site. They mentioned during the Eukanuba dog show that the Iditerod was going on, that made it extra-special when that gorgeous Siberian boy Rushmore won Best in Show!
