Has anyone tried this food (Dog and/or cat formula)? I don't think I've ever seen it before the other day. I thought it looked okay and may consider it as an option in the future.

Here's the link (http://www.bynaturepetfoods.com/) .

I glanced at the link site and came up with tsome questions.

I couldn't find if it is fit for human consumption. That is something I now look for.

I would like to find the on line definition of chicken meal; I just spent 5 mintues, can't find it. I KNOW I had all those definitions at one time, just in the last 2 months when I switched foods for both cats and dog. I just can't recall what is included in chicken meal.

Hope this helps a bit.

By Nature Adult Dog Formula

Ingredients: Chicken Meal, Ground Barley, Ground Oats, Ground Brown Rice, Chicken Fat (Stabilized with Mixed Tocopherols), Lamb Meal, Chicken, Flaxseed Meal, Tomato Pomace, Natural Flavors, Alfalfa Meal, Yeast Culture, Salt.

Chicken Meal: Chicken meal is dry and 50% to 65% protein. Chicken meal is dry and less than 10% moisture and contains 50% - 65% meat proteins. In processing, the meat meals do not shrink below the grain weight, producing a true meat based formula for your carnivores.

It looks pretty good. :)

The only "bad" ingredient I spot is yeast culture, but it doesn't do any harm, it just isn't that quality.

The rest looks good, though. :)
