Cam's been obsessed with two things: the steps and the cats. We took care of the steps by blocking it with a baby gate. But that created another problem..... the poor kitties were stuck either upstairs, or terifyingly downstairs with Cam chasing them.
So whats a good family to do for their kitties? Raise the baby gate, block it with a piece of sturdy board, and leave a little gap for the kitties to pass through
believe it or not, fat cat Harry passes through.

Great job! I am a bit urprised the cats wouldn't just jump over, I guess due to the stairs they aren't sure where they are landing. Another cat mom solves a puzzle!!

I Sort Of Thought That They Would Jump Too.
Even Joseph Will Jump If He Thinks There Treats And Hes An Older Cat.
Maybe This Is Quicker As They Dont Have To Stop And Calculate Where To Land.
Thats A Clever Solution And We Hope It Works.

Some cats are hesitant Jumpers...Remus is good at leaping but he will sit for HOURS staring at the floor making sure he is going to land safely...sometimes I think the only reason he does jump is if he really needs to hit the box lol.
Way to solve a conundrum for two parties! Thats why I love moms :D (both of furkids and skinkids!)

Most of my cats will jump our baby gate, but not all of them. What a way to solve that problem! ;)
