And by the looks of it, Pippo had eaten - very well - just before the picture was taken. I am sorry for the loss of his sister, and if it is true that he now has a dog for a brother, then his brotherly actions toward that dog can be considered nothing but appropriate and proper. Pippo - may you live long on this earth and always with an expanding tummy.

Pippo, you are a most adorable Cat of the Day! I have a question for you, however: have your humans had you checked for worms? These unpleasant little parasites can give you a big round tummy and a huge appetite as well. Many, many kittens and puppies have worms at birth, and your vet will know how to get rid of them quickly and easily. Just a thought!

Hi I just wanted to thank everyone for all the good wishes :D it was such a surprise to see pippo on COTD coz we sent the pic in many months ago.....pippo is now ALOT bigger n weighs a whopping 6kg....that is about 10 pounds? I love him to bits and he's been there for me through one of the worst times in my life. he really is a great kitty cat and i look forward to spending many more happy years with him. Thanks for your well wishes everyone!!!!
