A first on Pet Talk, a Degu...at least a first for me!:) What an adorable "Daddy" you are, Degu! And wow, what a much beloved furkid to your proud person! She/he hung in there with you during those tough days at the pet shop, never giving up hope that one day you would be hers and how well she was rewarded her devotion! :) Kudos to your grandparents, hehe...for "giving in" and making you the most beloved birthday "gift" ever; and yes, your love is truly a gift, a gift that never stop giving! Degu your story is so cute. And I am so glad that you love people so much and that your mom's parents loved her so much and went and got you for her. I bet that was the best gift they could ever give her, and you should be very proud of yourself:D
