Storms across US

Everybody weathering the current storms alright? We've got 11 new inches of snow and still falling. I hear tell of snow, dust storms, tornados, wildfires and more going on across the country this weekend.

We've gotten a lot of snow, but it is all alright here. On Friday we didn't have hardly any snow, just little patches here and there, now there are six foot snow drifts. The snow is blowing a lot, if you walk somewhere, you can't see the foot prints 3 min. later. :eek: Time to bring out the snowmobiles! My dad thankgoodness took out the snowblower this morning and made a path to everything. The "walls" of the path are two feet tall already in just over 1 day! I couldn't even get out to the horses to feed them earlier today, and when I did get out there, I couldn't find the gate handle to get in!

We are right behind ya Irescue- we had 10 inches now- and still coming. We lost our view of the valley its snowing so hard. WHOOPEE Hottie says.. lol..

In the last 24 hrs. Indiana has had, rain,snow,ice,sleet,thunderstorms,
and high winds. Can't get much more mixed up than that. :D

it had snowed CONSTANTLY for two days few days ago. about 10ft! but now, stopped for pretty while .. I won't be surprised what's next .. ha.

last stormy thursday morning I think, a huge block of ice fell off the roof - gave way under weight of a large accumulation of ice. unfortunately it didn't fall straight down - could have hit my friend's car - instead one end of it acted like a hinge, it then flew with the ice diagonally across the center of the house, skidded across the roof of bay window, and hit MY windshield and smashed the hood as well. funny is, I never parked on their driveway once before, only slept over there for a night. and, I just got my car back out of the shop (replaced transmission) the day before. who says I am charlie brown's linus' girlfriend?! that rainy cloudy always likes and follows me.. :rolleyes:

I also heard one person died for the same reason, his head instead of car. I'm not sure if that was in this city or not in the state. :( :confused:

Well it is supposed to snow a bit here..... about 4 inches. Not a snow storm by my standards but they are already closing churches early here.

haha yep, Canada's winter has been weird this year. Up here in Nova Scotia we have gotten barely any snow all winter, and the coldest its been is maybe -16, today its plus 1 or 2 I think lol...usually we get like 6 feet of snow in the winter. It's Global Warming I tell ya!:p

ok it's been getting colder every year and snowing more than it ever has. HOW IS THAT GLOBAL WARMING?!?!?!?!? lol I think scientists just like to hear themselves talk. lol :D

Today is a lovely day outside! We are slightly over 40!!! Took the dog for 2 walks already, hoping to squeeze in one more.

We've had a VERY strange winter. We finally got snow last week for the FIRST time - a light dusting all around, it was gone by noon. Sigh. Haven't had the TV on, haven't seen the Weather Channel, didn't even realize there were lots of things happening until I saw this thread; and yes, I checked the date of the first posting before I read anything, he he.
