Goodbye sweet Manuel

My lovely little Gerbil, Manuel died today. You can see him as pet of the day at http://petoftheday.com/archive/2006/June/20.html
Manuel was a Valentine's present from my husband 2 years ago, and was the best present ever, along with his brother Basil.
Basil is now alone, and I'm sure he misses his brother a lot.
Rest in peace sweet Manuel, you were very loved and will be missed.

I am sorry he was a cutie. I looked back at his pet of the day page and his brother Basil is cute too. I hope he learns how to adjust without his brother now... You can tell how much they loved each other in the picture!

I remember your gerbils Manuel and Basil.
I'm so sorry to hear that sweet Manuel has gone to the RB. :(
Basil will be ok, just give him lots of extra attention.
When I had my two gerbils Chocolate and Brownie, Brownie died in the summer of 2005 and Chocolate lived another whole year as a single gerbil.
