[Bobby & Lilly] *Cuteness Warning!*

I would like to share a few pics of our new editions...they were from a stray at the barn I keep my horse at. They are in my sister's room-they needed a good home instead of running around reproducing.

Unfortunately...we were walking up to my front door with Lilly, and as I went to go inside I told her to wait outside while I put the dogs away. I don't really know if she didn't hear me or what-but for whatever reason she just walked in right behind me. All the dogs rushed up to check out the kitten-she FLIPPED and my sister couldn't hold on to her-I tried to grab her but she bit me and jumped onto the ground. Three of the dogs I don 't trust with cats..and voila prey drive kicked in and they were trying to get her, she was right behind me...I was trying to get her and she kept biting me, I managed to scruff her and run through the house and put her in a dog crate to calm down. It was just chaos. She's fine, relaxing in my sister's room-me, on the other hand, has 3-4 bites on my index finger and thumb and my hand pretty tore up from scratches. Im crossing my fingers (although its a little hard!) that I won't end up having to go to the hospital tonight. It looks OK but you never know. :( So that was my interesting day.

Anyways..now that they are settled in, here are the pictures. Bobby is the black, Lilly is the grey. Their mom was a Siamese mix.

I would however get you hand checked out, especially since these are barn cats, and have probably never had a vaccinations! Please be careful, a cat bite can turn bad, very quickly!

I Would Be Careful As Well.
I Had A Boarding Kitten Scratch My Hand In Fun And It Swelled Up Something Awful. Turning A Bright Red And Was Painful.
They Are Sweet Little Ones, And Once They Calm Down Will Be Great Cats.

I hope your hand is better! Did you clean it and put anything on it???

Your babies are adorable. Any chance of live-trapping the mom cat and getting her spayed?

Your babies are just too darn cute! Hopefully all your critters will settle down and get to be comfortable with each other. About your hand, it might be a good idea to get to the ER, have the bites and scratches completely cleaned out to avoid any infection and if it has been awhile get a tetanus shot.

Oh they are so sweet especially Lilly, she's bootiful.
Sorry to hear about your hand, when the ferals get like that with us, which isn't often, i just remind myself they do not mean it, it's only fear that makes them like that, and any human would be the same in a frightening situation.

Thanks for the comments guys. The kittens are doing well this morning! Lilly vomitted her food up-I don't think she's used to kibble. I think she's okay though.

Yes..I did wash my hand immediately with peroxide, sprayed it with lanacaine, and put neosporin covered bandaids on it. She went through my nail, but that dosen't bother me too much..there's one deep puncture on top of my index finger that is kind of painful right now-it swelled a bit last night, but this morning is looking better. I would have gone to the hospital, but I don't have medical insurance right now-not that that won't stop me if there is a major problem, but I need to make sure it's worth going over there. I do have my tetanus shot, luckily.

I haven't seen mom cat in a while...the kittens have been hanging out for about..2 weeks now with no mom. There is still one more, but obviously we couldn't take him-they might keep him anyway, but they won't neuter him. I don't get it sometimes-they run a horse rescue, but they have 3 unneutered dogs, and intact cats running around. Heck it was probably one of hers that got the mom. :(

That little blackie looks so much like Samanth when she was that age! I could keep those and claim it was her and nobody would know the differance.. :rolleyes:

That tabby is a doll! Cute as can be!

Hope the hand gets well fast, be sure to keep it clean and watch it close.
