And previous to that is 1895 or something close to that.. Granted is only half way though the month- but considering we have been sitting in the teens, and 0 (F) most of the mornings, ITS COLD... Even Hottie doesnt want to stay out for long- THAT IS COLD!!!

Borzoimom, that is bitterly cold for you people in Virginia! In Pittsburgh, we had the coldest weather we've had in ten years. For two days we had lows, not windchills, of -8 degrees! Our windchills were around -20 degrees! What happened to our mild winter??

I grew up in Virginia and I remember it being 9 degrees in the winter sometimes. I remember being so cold that my young bones use to ache all the time. I remember the snow and ice... That is why I now live in the SOUTH! I grew up in Lynchburg.

When I hear things like this I'm glad I live in Arizona. It was 81 yesterday and today so far it's 76. All the doors and windows are open!

In the summer--it's a whole other story!!!!!!!! :D
