What are your thoughts on this?

My goodness, how people do pick apart and scrutinize every word out of a declared candidate's mouth. I personally took the supposedly offensive word *clean* to mean a *clean slate,* fresh and new. Sen. Biden has made many positive statements about Sen Obama but the media zeroes in on this. He did later clear things up, actually in a comedic way, with John Stewart on late night TV.

As always, I am wondering why anyone would want to be president and under the miscroscope like this. With all of the *gaffs* I make at times the media would have a field day with me! :p

I agree with you Pam, the media would just LOVE me if I was running, my my 'foot-in-mouth disease.' I saw an interview with Biden and he impressed me by actually saying nice things about his opponents. I don't think that happens often.....but of course the media has to pick everything apart and add their own twist.

Well, I didn't read the comment on FOX news, but heard about it just the
same. It certainly caught my attention & I listened carefully to hear what
"bad thing" Biden has said. After I heard the statement, I thought, is that
it......, I didn't see anything wrong at all.

The media sure stretched for this bit of non-news.

I saw a funny quote from Tank Johnson, the football player that was allowed to play in the Super Bowl after bring on house arrest for being arrested three time in the last 18 months.

He went on a rant about color, tattoos and some other crap.

His point?

Something about his being black that made him a victim...

I guess.......
